Harry Potter gets a grand finale with Deathly Hallows Part 2. There's drama, action, terror, danger, death, special effects and loads of magic as the world's three most loved fictional characters meet their final destiny. But what makes the film really special is the high emotional quotient as heroes emerge from nowhere, lovers exchange love and longing neath the shadow of death and friends give a whole new meaning to friendship. Many a times, the film touches your heart and fills your eyes with a strange mistiness... something that rarely happened in the last few encounters.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 is a juggernaut of a movie, epic at times, poetic at others. Actually, it is so good that you wish all the films had been this good. But there are still Potter booboos. I mean, surely, you can't have Harry duelling Lord Voldemort even before Nagini is dead? And, surely, more people joined the Battle of Hogwarts? And the final film remains a victim of past mistakes, though it tries to cover it all in one grand sweep, and, to director David Yates' credit, almost succeeds. Deathly Hallows Part 2 is undoubtedly the best of the Harry Potter movies. For now, go and watch this lavish movie for its performances, for its special effects, and for its storytelling.

Deathly Hallows Part 2 isn't all about the action. Most of the emotional intelligence and thematic ingenuity of the text has been translated well enough onto celluloid with knowledge that a para-for-para adaptation would be impossible.Deathly Hallows Part 2, for a concluding chapter in a saga of mystery solving, curse dodging, Polyjuice potion-induced transformations ends on a touching (which could be corny to some) note.Allow this reviewer to reiterate his stand on the Potter adaptations: Mere visual accompaniments to the books. This one manages to be slightly more than that.

There are some superb set-piece scenes – and now the plot has so much more zing, these scenes have a power that comparable moments in earlier movies did not have. This is such an entertaining, beguiling, charming and exciting picture. It reminded me of the thrill I felt on seeing the very first one, 10 years ago. And Radcliffe's Harry Potter has emerged as a complex, confident, vulnerable, courageous character

The series' shortest entry at 131 minutes, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" surges ahead with tremendous urgency, superb spectacle and powerful, even overwhelming emotion, only to falter with a hasty sendoff that seems to buckle under the weight of audience expectations. Tears will be shed as fans bid farewell to Hogwarts, but catharsis remains just out of reach.the filmmakers have created something indelible while keeping risk and reverence in judicious balance.
