Though one does feel that at least a song or two more may have added further weight to the soundtrack, eventually it is an outing that manages to make you feel content with what is made available. Thankfully none of the four songs disappoint while 'Papa' and 'Anarkali' consolidate their place as definite chartbusters. Summing up, the music of HOUSEFULL 2 has been created keeping in mind the theme and story of the movie, and the songs will surely provide the film with just the right turbo charger needed to hype the film further and help HOUSEFULL open to housefull houses all over. Two tracks, 'Papa Toh Band Bajaye' and 'Anarkali Disco Chali', will work wonders in that direction and they are our picks as well, while 'Do You Know' and 'Right Now Now' holds appeal for the die-hard romantics, and will become popular once the promos are out. And we are sure that with the numero uno music company, T-Series, at the helm of affairs, the album will surely get its deserved publicity and inevitable success.

Comparisons to the previous Housefull soundtrack are inevitable, but here Sajid and Wajid are clearly having fun in making the album. Yet it’s not without its faults as the key song ‘Papa Toh Band Bajaye’ sounds like a direct lift of a western song, yet it manages to invert the same rhythm to its advantage. Maybe one or two more songs would have improved the album, but what we’ve got here is an album that is sure to be a hit with the audience, but one that might not be remembered months later. With this pretty good album, Sajid and Wajid show that they can deliver outside of a Salman movie. So give this one a try!

The music album of Housefull 2 has only as few as four tracks, plus each of their remixed versions.The last song in the CD, 'Right Now Now', performed by Sajid and Sunidhi Chauhan with Suzanne De Mello, is an attempt to be different and cater to the young audience, but turns out to be the one weak link in this otherwise solid work!
